The black leaves on the tree
Unfurl their wings to take flight
As an autumn cloud.
Above the rooftops,
Two shining arcs of colour
That only children see.
Bright in the blue sky,
I admire the white feathers
Of a cloud.
Watching I ponder,
Schools of bird and flocks of fish,
In synchronization.
